Join Up

To participate in Season 2, simply head on over to the Team Creation page, and create a new Ultiduo team. Once that’s done, and you’ve got two members on your team, set your team as Ready. (note: you must sign in before accessing the page)

PS. We know it’s no longer Valentine’s Day, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy a little down and dirty Soldier on Medic fun, does it?

  • Sidular

Just a general reminder for those of you creating your first Ultiduo team.
You’ll need to sign into TFCL using your Steam account before you are able to access the team creation page. So if you haven’t already, be sure to sign in with Steam by clicking the green button at the very top of every page.

  • Sidular

Fixed the team creation link. Sorry about that guys.

  • V!s

When is the deadline for the signups. Also, where are the servers located, on the twitch I saw NA ultiduo.

    • Sidular

      Deadline is March 22nd.
TFCL will not be providing servers for this tournament, though we require that all servers are based in North America. You’re of course welcome to play and compete from other parts of the world, but you will be at a pretty major ping disadvantage.

  • Sidular

Hey guys. Remember, if you want to compete in Ultiduo Season 2, you will need to set your team as “Ready” from your team page. If your team isn’t Ready, it will not be entered into the season, and you will not get to compete.

  • lol

we can make a team until march 24 ?

  • lol

we will play all on NA servers ? even if im european ?

    • Sidular

Yes, that is unfortunately how it’ll work for this tournament.
TFCL still doesn’t officially support EU, though since a lot of teams were signing up from EU, we figured we’d just add EU as a region so they don’t have to lie about their location.
From the FAQ page – http://tfcleague.com/faq/

      “Q. Where is TFCL available?
      A. Officially, we are available to players from the United States and Canada.

      Q. I don’t live in North America. Can I still play?
      A. Yup, of course you can! Though it’s worth mentioning that not all prizes are available internationally, so if you end up winning a tournament, you may not actually win a prize. Plus, you’ll be playing on NA servers, so you’ll be at a ping disadvantage.”

    • Sidular

Also, the registration deadline is March 22nd.

  • The Coffee Cup

how do I change my teams region?

    • Sidular

Which team would you like to change, and to which region?
At this time, region changing can only be done by an admin.

      • The Coffee Cup

TheRagingMedics and I need it to be central North American

        • Sidular

          Done.

          • The Coffee Cup

another question: can I or you manually add a friend to my team.(team is TheRagingmedics)

          • Sidular

Nope, team joining can only be done via the join password. You’ll need to give your friend the password, and ask him to join manually.

  • Tonceitoys

I’m new to this but.. if TFCL doesn’t provide the servers, how do we get to play on match day? Do any of the two teams provide the servers? And if my team needs to get a server, how do we do it?

    • Sidular

One of the two teams will need to rent or reserve a server for their match. If neither team has a server, you can get one for free from http://serveme.tf/
TFCL also has 5 servers on reserve, though we only grant them out on a first come, first serve basis. If you need to use one of our servers, just post to the match comms, and we’ll provide you with one, assuming one is available for your time slot.

  • V!s

Hey, It’s me again 😀 I wonder, since we are from EU, is there a way we can reschedule the matches for 1-2 hours earlier, because it really doesn’t suit us 6 EDT (aka 11 cet, usually the time when we sleep :D) Also, if we get to play against EU team, why is it a problem to play in EU server?

  • The Coffee Cup

I have to skip out this year, but can I still use my team for season 3?

    • Sidular

Of course! Once a team is created, it is never deleted. Just get a roster and ready up once the next season starts.
