I am currently 15 (going on 16 in 2 months), and I would like to join Season 2 of Ultiduo, but the cash incentive is actually deterring me a bit. Cash is cool, but normally for me there is an age limit tied to the cash. My question is kinda obvious: Is there an age limit? I’m assuming there is, which would likely be 18.
As far as I can see, if you enjoy playing tf2 you’re welcome here, even at 15 or 16. A few higher level teams have players that young and I personally don’t see any restrictions here. There’s no age limit on ESEA either, and they have cash prizes as well.
Okay, thanks. That was genuinely scaring me. 😛
Hey there. I just wanted to confirm that there are no age restrictions for joining and competing in TFCL. However, it is highly recommended that you get permission from a legal guardian, as you will be required to provide PayPal information (email) if you were to win one of our monetary competitions, like our second Ultiduo season.
Plus, it’s worth pointing out that these are just general rules for TFCL, and individual competitions or tournaments may have different restrictions. For instance, an upcoming unannounced tournament will require that you reside in North America to be eligible to receive the prize, given regional restrictions put in place by the sponsor. But don’t worry, when we host a regional competition like that, we’ll make it very clear up front, so there won’t be any confusion.
