Player Fees
Each player pays a seasonal fee based on the division they compete in. This fee covers the full season including playoffs.

Prize Pool Breakdown
- Total prize pool: $10,000 to $20,000 depending on player fees and sponsorships.
- Invite: $8,000 to $14,000 depending on seasonal revenue.
- Intermediate: Fixed $6,000 prize pool.
- Open: Guaranteed $2,000 prize pool.
- Player fees: Contribute $6,000 to $17,000 each season.
- Sponsors: Contribute $1,000 to $8,000.
- Sidular: Covers any remaining amount required to meet the seasonal minimum.
Prize Pool Cap and Long Term Sustainability
TFCL maintains a strict prize pool cap to ensure predictable growth and responsible financial management. Even if seasonal revenue from player fees or sponsorships exceeds the required amount, the total prize pool will never surpass our maximum limit.
- Seasonal prize pool cap: TFCL is capped at a maximum of $20,000 per season.
- External funding: TFCL relies on external support such as sponsors and Sidular to stabilize operations during early growth.
- Excess revenue: Any revenue beyond the cap is used to reduce losses, support operations, and build long term stability.
- Expected early losses: TFCL anticipates losing approximately $70,000 during its first three years as the league grows.
- Profitability goal: The league aims to become fully profitable within three years of launch.
Move Up Rosters
The top performing team in every division is rewarded with free advancement into the next division for the following season.
- Best Open team: Moves to Intermediate for free.
- Best Intermediate team: Moves to Invite for free.
- Entire roster: All player fees for the next season are fully covered.

- Are fees refundable? Fees are non refundable once the season begins, with rare exceptions.
- Do substitutes need to pay? Yes. Any player who appears in an official match must pay.
- What happens if an unpaid player plays? They have 24 hours to pay or the match is overturned.
- What if a player never pays? They remain ineligible until payment is completed.
